  • Assam-Rembeng TGFOP-1 Single Estate

    Assam (India) Teas are a strong, full-flavored tea. Dark, golden infusion, is often used as a base in “Breakfast Teas”. ORGANIC and one of the highest grades.

    This tea is used as well with other black tea bases for teas like Irish Breakfast, English & Russian Breakfast and Earl Greys.   • Ceylon – Black Tea Blend

    When you see Ceylon Teas- these are teas that come from Sri Lanka. We created and use this base tea blend (from the Koslanda and Kenilworth Estates in Sri Lanka), for most of our signature blending.

  • China Black – Keemun Imperial

    Keemun Imperial – This is our China Black tea. Keemun is noted for its natural sweetness and less astringent taste. With hints of red wine, cocoa and orchids, makes for smooth tea. Extra bonus – a little less caffeine content than other Black teas!

    Remember, the darker the tea the hotter the water and the longer the steep. WITH THIS ONE ONLY STEEP 3-4 MINUTES, unless you want a stronger tasting tea.   • China Green – Chun Mee

    Chun Mee is our China Green Tea. In contrast to the Japanese Greens, it has a sweeter after taste. Also called the “Eyebrow Tea” because many of the leaves processed are hand rolled and thus can curl up. Most Chun Mee teas exported are processed in part by machines, so the true hand rolling of all Chun Mee teas may be a bit exaggerated, but they do have a curled and Dryer appearance in contrast to the Sencha (Japan).

  • Darjeeling FTGFOP1

    Darjeelings are often called the “Champagne of Tea”, grown in altitudes of 6000 feet have a delicate aroma. Darjeelings have a very limited harvest season (usually only twice a year – 1st and 2nd Flush) which accounts for its “higher price” as a tea.

    The first flush produces a light yellow to copper-red brew color with a delicate flowery aroma. The second flush turns a more fruity and nutty character tea.     Earl Grey- A traditional British blend. Popular morning breakfast tea. A blend of various “hardier” black teas with the oil of bergamot which gives this brisk yet silky cup of tea its citrus, even floral hints. Being a blend of Black Teas, it’ll give you that little “get up and go” feeling so you’ll move your butt out the door a little faster!

    There will be a difference between all “blenders” of Earl Greys, because the base will be blended with different black teas. We use our ASSAM (single estate) and our Ceylon black teas as our Earl Grey base and Earl seems to like this blend.     Look up and you’ll see a picture of the Green Earl Grey in the stars 🙂 Been asked by some of our green tea lovers, if we could come up with a green Earl Grey. And we did. We take a gunpowder earl grey base and had… more oil of bergamot and cornflowers and orange peels for some cool color. There you have it a Green Earl Grey Blend- enjoy!

  • Earl Grey – Rooibos

    We’ve been asked lately… “I love the taste and smell of Earl Grey but I can’t have the caffeine. SO, can you make an Earl Grey that is caffeine free?”. We can always use a decaff. black- but some people just want a “non-black” Earl Grey. SO WE MADE ONE!!! Actually two- we did it with a green too (but that has a little caffeine)

  • Genmaicha

    Genmaicha – Is a green tea from Japan. During the fermentation process it’s roasted over dried rice, giving it a unique toasted rice flavor. Because it has A VERY unique green tea/rice base- to pepper (add) in any herb, the desired herbal flavor will probably get lost.

    If you like the taste of toasted rice, this tea is for you! Like all greens, steep with fresh, steaming water for 1-2 (at most) minutes or to desired taste.     Green Rooibos (roy-bus) is the traditional Rooibos, but like a green is to a black tea, it’s not processed as long. This is believed to give it a sweeter taste and more antioxidants.
